Overview
Brokermint — now branded BoldTrail BackOffice following its acquisition by Inside Real Estate — is a brokerage back office system rather than an agent tool. Its job starts where the transaction ends: commission calculation, disbursement authorizations, agent billing and accounting sync.
Commission handling is the reason brokerages buy it. Split structures in real estate get complicated fast — tiered caps, team splits, referral fees, brokerage deductions — and calculating that by spreadsheet across dozens of agents is both slow and error-prone in a way agents notice immediately. It also syncs to accounting systems, which removes a monthly reconciliation job.
Individual agents will not buy this. If you are an agent, the relevant question is only whether your brokerage uses it, since that determines how your commission statements and reporting look.
